Monday

• Have students define and explain the following days: Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday
• Why are we talking about these days this week?
• Watch video 25 Things You Should Know about Black Friday
• Place students in groups of 2-3 and give them the handout "Creating a Black Friday Shopping List"
• Have students use the web site www.blackfriday.com to shop within the defined amount of cash and credit
• If time, have students share what they found, with the group that managed their money the best, getting candy or leaving 1 minute early

Tuesday

• Play Thanksgiving Trivia
• Suggestions for playing
• Divide class into teams of 4
• Give each team a white board and marker, or cut-out of letters A, B, C, D
• Play the game as 1-person, displayed on the overhead for the whole class
• Have teams take turns selecting the category and points
• Each team answers each question, waiting until instructed to show the answer they chose
• Each team that gets the question correct, earns the point
• Save the last question for Double Jeopardy
• for Double Jeopardy, teams bet in advance how much they are willing to wager; walk around and write down their wager
• Ask the last question; reveal each teams answers and points
• Team with the most points leaves for lunch early
